Twitter Files' Taibbi and Shellenberger testify before Congress

EP’s president and founder, Michael Shellenberger, appeared before the US House of Representative’s select committee on the "Weaponization of the Federal Government” on March 9, 2023 where he testified on the The Censorship Industrial Complex.

According to Shellenberger’s written testimony, “The Twitter Files, state attorneys general lawsuits, and investigative reporters have revealed a large and growing network of government agencies, academic institutions, and nongovernmental organizations that are actively censoring American citizens, often without their knowledge, on a range of issues, including on the origins of COVID, COVID vaccines, emails relating to Hunter Biden’s business dealings, climate change, renewable energy, fossil fuels, and many other issues. He also testified before the Energy and Commerce Committee on “Preserving Free Speech and Reining in Big Tech Censorship.” On March 28, 2023.
